Tidyfold is a browser extension that adds folders to AI chat websites such as ChatGPT. This policy describes what it stores and what it does not do.

What Tidyfold stores

• Folder names, colors and structure you create.
• For each chat you file: its conversation ID, its title as shown in the sidebar, its URL, and which folder you put it in.

This data is stored only on your device using the browser's chrome.storage.local API. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.

What Tidyfold does not do

• It does not read, store or transmit your ChatGPT session token, cookies or login.
• It does not read the content of your messages.
• It does not include analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or advertising.
• It does not make any network requests of its own.
• It does not sell, share or transfer user data to anyone.

Permissions

Tidyfold requests a single permission, storage, to save your folders locally. Its content script runs only on the chat sites listed in the extension manifest.

Your data

You can export all Tidyfold data as a JSON file from the extension popup at any time, and delete everything by uninstalling the extension.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts, so there is no cookie banner to click through. The embedded demo video is served by YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, which does not set tracking cookies until you press play. Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments on their own checkout pages, under their privacy policy.
